AI Action Plan Unveiled

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research has published an AI Action Plan that aims to provide new impulses for the German AI ecosystem. Prof. Thomas Lippert from Forschungszentrum Jülich was invited as an expert and provided insight into the German AI computing infrastructure.

Next Milestone for JUPITER

Construction of the first European exascale supercomputer JUPITER at Forschungszentrum Jülich is making progress. Forschungszentrum Jülich and Eviden (Atos Group) have signed a contract for the delivery of a modular data centre, marking the next milestone in the installation of the supercomputer.
