Jülich Expertise at “Environment Week”

Jülich, 8 June 2021 – State-of-the-art plant research, the future bioeconomy, and sustainable building envelopes that remove pollutants from the air: these are the topics that Forschungszentrum Jülich will present at this year's “Environment Week”. German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has invited experts to his official residence in Berlin on 10 and 11 June as part of a collaboration with the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU). Due to the coronavirus pandemic, part of the event will be held in the park at Schloss Bellevue and part of it will be held virtually. The 150 exhibitors at the event were selected by a jury of experts and they will present images, texts, and recordings on dedicated websites, providing visitors with impressions of what the journey towards a sustainable future could look like. Live events in the park will be streamed.
