SenseUP granted funding by BMBF

Jülich, 7 June 2021 – Five years ago, Georg Schaumann’s research team at Jülich combined its biosensor technology with expertise in microbial strain development to set up the biotechnology spin-off SenseUP GmbH. Now, over the next three years, the spin-off from the Institute of Bio- and Geosciences at Forschungszentrum Jülich aims to develop cost-effective and scalable methods for producing RNA-based substances. Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Education and Research Thomas Rachel (member of the German Bundestag) officially announced that this project will receive funding worth € 800,000.
